Benefits of Good Public Relations
A good PR program will help your club to maintain a consistently strong membership by attracting the interest of potential members. By bringing awarness of Toastmasters to your community, you Increase opportunities for members to serve as speakers or panelists for other organizations.

Let the World Know
Effective public relations will create a desire for the reader or listener to visit your club meeting or to learn more about Toastmasters. Good public relations skills are not taught, but rather are developed through regular practice.

Toastmaster’s publicity and promotion handbook, Let the World Know, is a step-by-step guide for promoting your club. It incorporates many of the ideas and activities developed and proven successful by numerous clubs.

There are several promotional brochures available for use by clubs. Feel free to borrow text from these brochures if your club chooses to create its own marketing materials.
