Awards Chair

Prepare all awards for presentation for Spring Conference and the Fall 2020 Event Awards ceremonies. This may include preparing a district order, printing certificates, and gift “bagging” awards as well as tracking which awards were received.

  • Benefits – If you love to give gifts, especially with someone else’s money, then this is a dream for you. This is a simple way to learn about the International and District incentives. You’ll get to meet other members in the district and go … SHOPPING!
  • Commitment – A few hours per month with spikes in March-April and June-July.

DEC Training Chair

Can use for a High-Performance Leadership Project (HPLP) if you build and direct a team.

You will gather and lead a team, with the help of the PQD, to create and implement a training session using Toastmasters training materials for the 2020-2021 District Leadership Team (new Division Directors and Area Directors) on Saturday May 30th (NOT Memorial Day weekend).

  • Benefits – You can use this role for your HPLP. You’ll get to know next year’s district leadership team and meet other members in the district.
  • Commitment – A few hours per week March-April with a spike in May then done.

DTM Chair

Reach out to potential DTM candidates and help them monitor their progress and find opportunities to complete their DTM (Legacy or Pathways)
  • Benefits – This is a great way to meet members throughout the district. This is a fantastic way for DTMs to help the next generation of members attain their DTM but could also be filled by a high-energy candidate who wants to learn more.
  • Commitment – A few hours per week with spikes April-July.

Incentives Chair

Track member and club achievements to provide awards for Spring Conference and the Fall 2020 Event Awards ceremonies.

  • Benefits – This is a simple way to learn about the International and District incentives. You’ll get to meet other members in the district. When you see a member or club close to earning an incentive, you can reach out to them with encouragement.
  • Commitment – A few hours per month with spikes in March-April and June-July.

Sponsorship Fund Chair

Can use for a High-Performance Leadership Project (HPLP) if you build and direct a team.

You will reach out to corporations and small businesses within our district to invite them to sponsor events. There are various financial commitment and reward levels from which the companies can choose. You can decide to do this by yourself or gather a team. If you lead others, you could use this position for a High-Performance Leadership Project.

  • Benefits – You could potentially use this role for your HPLP. You’ll get to meet other members in the district and make connections.
  • Commitment – Hours are flexible with your schedule. Timeframe in role is negotiated with DD/PQD.

Spring Conference Education Chair

Can use for a High-Performance Leadership Project (HPLP) if you build and direct a team.

You and your team are responsible for organizing all aspects of designing entertaining and educational breakout sessions. You will help to find and interview potential workshop leaders then facilitate their appearance prior to and day of the April 18, 2020 Spring Conference.

  • Benefits – You can use this role for your HPLP. You’ll get to meet other members in the district.
  • Commitment – A few hours per hours per week with spikes in March-April then done.

Spring Conference Registration Chair

Can use for a High-Performance Leadership Project (HPLP) if you build and direct a team.

You and your team are responsible for organizing all aspects of attendees’ registration prior to and day of the April 18, 2020 Spring Conference.

  • Benefits – You can use this role for your HPLP. You’ll get to meet other members in the district. You’ll be starting off the day of training right for attendees – that will earn some thanks.
  • Commitment – A few hours per hours per week with spikes in March-April then done.

Summer TLI Chair

Can use for a High-Performance Leadership Project (HPLP) if you build and direct a team.

Responsible for organizing all aspects of attendees’ registration prior to and day of the June TLI for the 2020-2021 club officers and members.

  • Benefits – You can use this role for your HPLP. You’ll get to meet other members in the district. You’ll be starting off the day of training right for attendees – that will earn some thanks.
  • Commitment – A few hours per week April-May with spikes in May-June then done.

CORPORATE LIAISON

Looking for C-Suite Experience

We are looking for someone with C-suite experience and/or demeanor to interact with corporate executives to check on their satisfaction with their Toastmaster Clubs and to see how we might provide better service for them.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP CHAIR

Sales Experience Preferred

The Corporate Sponsorship Chair will be charged with securing corporate sponsorship money and trade for the various events in our district throughout the year.
