District 13 2022-2023 Club Officers: Ride the W.A.V.E. at Summer TLI!

Join us this summer as we kick off the new Toastmaster year learning to woo our members, achieve member and club goals, add value by creating a positive first impression to those we serve and engage our current members. Now that sounds exciting! Riding the W.A.V.E. will provide you with opportunities to learn, refresh, reunite with fellow leaders, make new friends and share best practices.

Club officer training prepares our officers to have the best year possible with the information they can take back to the club and use.  In addition, they network and connect with other club officers who can share their experiences along this year’s leadership journey. Whether you participate in person or virtually, you will learn the nuts and bolts of your respective officer roles and demonstrate your dedication to your club by riding the W.A.V.E.! Register today! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) is a great opportunity for you to ramp up your own Toastmasters experience, learn and refresh, network and make new acquaintances and friends. Trained club officers are the best predictor of club success. When you participate you will receive training on the nuts and bolts of your respective officer roles and grow from engaging and informative elective sessions. Training helps your club meet Goal #9 of the Distinguished Club Program.

TLI is where Toastmasters from across the district come together to network, share ideas, and be inspired. It’s where newly elected club officers receive training about how to best serve their clubs. And it’s where any Toastmaster can expand skill sets as a communicator and a leader with additional educational sessions.

TLI is not only for the current club officers—it is for anyone who may be interested in becoming a club officer in the future or those club members who just want to learn more about our wonderful organization.

Are you traveling and want to get your training on the road? Remember that you can be trained anywhere in the world. One officer was trained in Oman when he went back home for the summer. Be sure to have the district email PQD@d13tm.com for your training credit – they must send your name, your club(s), your officer role(s).
