Sheryl Roush, DTM, PDG, AS

Sheryl Roush, DTM, PDG, AS, is CEO of Sparkle Presentations, Inc., originally from Southern California’s San Diego, now based in southern New York.

First shy and stumbling through her Ice Breaker in 1987, today Sheryl is an internationally top-rated speaker, and has presented at conferences throughout Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Baja California, Canada, England, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Singapore, and across the US… plus virtually since 2010.

In 1993, she was the youngest woman, and 28th overall, to earn Toastmasters elite designation of Accredited Speaker. As of August 2022, only 95 have earned the professional credential in 150 countries since 1981.

In 2009, she received the Toastmasters Presidential Citation for her contributions to enhancing global communication and leadership.

Sheryl is the proud author of the TI-sanctioned Heart of a Toastmaster book, which received the “Best Anthology” from the International Book Awards, publishing true stories by 135 members (available on Amazon as E-Book or Paperback).

Please note when booking your dates: In-person events are Friday night through all day Saturday. Sunday morning activities are only for incoming district officers.

DISTRICT 13 – PURPOSE

The purpose of the district is to enhance the quality and performance and extend the network of member clubs of Toastmasters International within the boundaries of this district, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from Toastmasters educational program by:

  • Focusing on the critical success factors as specified by the district educational and membership goals
  • Ensuring that each club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its individual members
  • Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for club and district officers.
